Projects & Initiatives

Healthy Start Initiatives are the beginning or introductory steps toward meeting a known need in the community or an attempt to validate a perceived need in the community. All Healthy Start Initiatives are based around the Healthy Start Mission of improving the infant mortality rate in Broward County

Broward Healthy Start Coalition, Inc. has evolved as the lead organization in Broward County for providing services to pregnant women and infants 0 to 3 years of age; with a sizeable Coalition membership along with nine (9) community-based providers of care coordination and wraparound services.
